This year was truly an International Christmas! Christmas Eve I went to church with Dwight and his family, the boys participated in the Christmas program which was cute and then the preacher talked for awhile. Caroling is also a big deal here, people will go out till the early morning. I didn't participate in caroling but carolers did come by my block about midnight. The sang and played and then ate food that was prepared for them for them from the people in the Block across from me. Christmas Day, we had a Christmas lunch with most of my team members, 3 other missionaries and 3 university students from India, a refugee family from Iraq that had been living in Libya. They have been in Romania for about 8 months staying at a camping just outside Timisoara. They are on their way to Washington state. We at lots of yummy food, there was American food, Romanian food and Iraqi food to try! We talked, played a few games until we left for church. It was really neat to hear everyones stories and see how God has been working in their lives. Though I missed being at home for Christmas and all the celebrations. It was great to be here to see how Christmas is celebrated in other parts of the world.
